About Japanese Salon

Azumi Uchitani curates and organises exhibitions the” Salons” of Japanese art & antique screen to bring the essence of Japan to your living and work space.

At Japanese Salon, She is also dedicated to teach and share Japanese philosophy and culture through her morning workshops, monthly salons to inspire people and build inner wealth.

Japanese Salon was started in 2009 by Azumi Uchitani, out of her desire to bring more understanding of authentic Japan to Europe.

In May 2015, Japanese Salon starts as a gallery and cultural institute in Spiegelstraat 11c, Bussum to make authentic Japanese arts and culture more accessible and available to anyone who is interested.

Her love for art, design and an openness to share her cultural heritage realised it.
